The "Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar" is a solution that finally allows you to work with the IE rendered document, without having to use the annoying 'View Source' feature and find the content in notepad.
Go to MS's site and download it. or click here!
Make sure you exit out of IE and install the toolbar, then restart IE.
It was kinda a pain to find, but it in IE7 it is in your menu:
Click on find->select element by click (default) and it works just like if you where using firebug! Pretty nifty!
